The last week has been great and a big thankyou to all the emails and facebook chatter with regards to Congrats for all the award wins last week at the Bipp awards, all gratefully received and it means a lot to know so many like and admire my work, i have had numerous requests from fellow photographers who would like help with their photographic training which would be an honor and a privledge.
I am a little behind on processing at the moment with all the renovations at the studio which are now thankfully complete. Below is are a few shots from a recent model shoot. Normal blog posts will resume very soon so keep checking back for more..
For the photogs out there, this was a 3 light setup, camera was the awesome Nikon D3x, processed in CS4 to my own special recipe.

iLifephotography©2010 Nottingham Fashion Photographers, Nottingham Photographers, Nottingham Wedding Photographers. My fine art nude work is also becoming very popular for clients in Nottingham and UK wide, it is all very tasteful and for those who do not like you are are looking at it in the wrong way. The female and male body are in essence a thing of natural beauty and when lit correctly look amazing.
Hope you all like...

Yes....WOW. What an amazing set of images. Tastefully posed, beautifully lit, just the right amount of post production and not over artworked. It just goes to show what can be done with the right ingredients and loads of skill and mastery of studio lighting.
Your wedding work is good, but I really think this is your true calling. A great set (again). How does he do it???
Can't wait for the next instalment.

Simply Stunning!
(11.18.09 @ 04:26 PM)For the photographers out there they were all one light moved into various positions around the model, black boards were used throughout as always, settings were 125th f11 or f8 camera D3x, processed in LR3 which is much better than LR2 its like being back in the darkroom with some fab new tools, final processing was in CS4.
any questions just ask.

The shot below was 3 lights, 2 to create the rim effect and a fill 2.5 stop under the rim lights to slightly lift the shadows on the face, but still create the mystery with the smoky eyes
WOW Karl, these are simply gorgeous. I love the last three...so glamorous.
(11.14.09 @ 09:38 AM)Wow, I love that shot of the new floor, pity that girl got in the way, she's cast a nasty shadow and now you can't see the lovely wood grain! Actually, that's my favourite shot. Seriously though, stunning set of shots, (as usual).
